Choosing the right sunglasses comes down to comfort, fit and how you’ll wear them day to day. This guide breaks down what to look for, without the guesswork.

1. Lens Types

Polarised lenses reduce glare and eye strain, making them ideal for everyday wear, driving and coastal conditions. Non-polarised lenses offer great protection with a lighter feel and a more casual look.

2. Fit & Face Shape

A good pair of sunglasses should sit comfortably on your nose without pinching and stay in place when you move. If you’re between sizes, a slightly wider frame often feels more natural for all-day wear.

3. Everyday vs Lifestyle Wear

Think about where you’ll wear them most. Lightweight frames suit daily use, while thicker acetate styles offer a stronger visual statement for lifestyle wear.

4. UV Protection

Always look for lenses that offer full UV protection. This protects your eyes long-term and makes a noticeable difference in comfort outdoors.
